Yellow Tang looses color

I am not sure what is causing my Yellow Tang to loose color in the mornings. When turn on the light for my tank the Tang looks almost white and sickly. After about 10 minutes he is ready to go and waiting for feeding time. Is this something that I should be concerned about? I will try to get a pic in the morning and post it.
Thanks

Is it just in the mornings when you turn on the lights that the color is off? If so, I've heard that some fish lose some color at night as a defense, makes them harder to see when they are sleeping. Do you feed your tang any nori or vegetable matter(macroalgae/lettuce)?

Yes, I used to have a sailfin tang - he changed colors all the time at night, or when the lighting changed. He looked very pale. It's normal for a lot of tangs. By the way, it's "lose" not "loose". Some examples: "I don't want to lose my fish." "My shoelaces are too loose." :D  :happyfish

I was just wondering. Do you feed your tangs (lettuce)? Like from the produce section at Krogers or is it a diff kind of lettuce.

My clown does this as well after he has been without lighting. Is this the same thing? Is it ok for clowns as well? Can it be bad for them?
