Yellow Tang not eating

I have had my ellow tang for about 5 months now. Ever since I first got him he was a great eater. He eats flakes and frozen brine shimp. In the past week or so I treated him for ich with copper. I noticed that ever since then he has not been eating as good. In fact he only eats a few flakes when I feed. He also eats seaweed that I put in the tank every other day. In the past few days I noticed that his stomach is sunk in. It looks like he has dimples on both sides of his stomach.
Some of the flake food I feed has garlic in it so I am using that. I am just wonerding if there is something I am missing or need to do to get him back to looking full again.

I'm afraid that diet you are offering is not good for tangs. Tangs need 60% vegetarian food, such as quality sea algaes. Brine has litte to non nutritional value. You need to do a significant change in diet.
Copper as well, is not a good choice for treating tangs. Have you completed the ich treatment? Did you do the treatment in a quarantine tank?

I am sorry for the confusion, I feed Formula II flake for my tang once a day, the second feeding I rotate with Brine Shimp or the garlic flake food that is a mix diet for both carnivors and herbavors.
I used a Qt tank and used seachem copper treatment for 2 weeks. The bottle stated I only use it for 10 days but all the threads I read said use it for a month so I compromised.
I stopped the copper treatment about 3 weeks ago sorry my timming was a bit off in my first post, and thats when I noticed the slower eating behavior.
Any suggestions? Could it possible have something to do with an internal infection?

soak his seaweed in selcon. He is mal-nurished. He needs to graze all day. I always have algae for my y-tang to eat. Feeding once/ twice a day is not enough. Is he still bright yellow or pastely?

he is still bright yellow but I have noticed on his dorsal fin he has some orange coloring on it. I am not sure if that would be a bacterial infection or just coloring. If you are far away you cannot even notice it but up close it looks like it takes up half of his fin.
I went home for lunch and feed him and he seems to be eating okay. He just doesnt seem as agressive as he used to. I put about 1x1 inch of seaweed on a clip every other day and he eats that but it is normally gone in about an hour.
Do I need to worry about the orange? It does not seem to be anything other then some discoloration.

Give him extra vitamins. Orange? He should always be bright sun shiny yellow. Sounds like he is loosing his coloring. Ever buy frozen seaweed? I usually drop a couple into the tank. It loosens up as it thaws. Can get a little messy, but resembles natural algae. soft & mushy. Try zucchini on a clip & maybe some broccoli. You do know to get them raw & rinse well with ro/di water. Clip it to the side of the tank, close to the ground.

Upon further review and looking at Beth's forum I believe it is a bacterial infection. The pictures are close to what my yellow tang has only the orange spot is on its dorsal fin.
Water quality: FOWLR
ph: 8.2
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 80 they have been between 60 and 80 for about 5 months now. Cannot seem to keep them under control.
Since I just ran copper about 3 weeks ago I am not really wanting to run anything again. What are my treatment options?
