Yellow Tang (Phil.)

I saw a yellow tang a my LFS today and it looked just a little bit different from the Hawaiian yellow tang. They said it was from the Philippines and is pretty similar except they don't get as big. I've tried to look it up but haven't been able to find out anything. I was wondering if any of you experts out there know more about this fish.
Thanks.

I wish I could find one. I didn't buy it yet, I'm having them hold it for me while I decide. The best way I can describe it is that it looks almost identical to a Hawaiian yellow tang but it's shorter in length and maybe fuller body-wise. I also noticed it doesn't have the little white patch near the tail and it looks like maybe it's a little darker around the eyes.

hmm... i can't answer. but maybe somebody will answer.....or maybe try some research. maybe it's true, considering that a red sea sailfin's color is a little different than the regular one....

Well thanks for trying. I trust my LFS, so I don't think they're trying to pull one over on me or anything. I just think it's weird I can't find anything on the web about this fish...

No. Is that a lemonpeel angel?
This fish (if it is indeed its own species) looks a lot more like a yellow tang.
I've looked around some other sites and I can find listings for this fish, but no pictures. They only seem to differentiate the yellow tangs by Hawaiian or Philippines.

The difference between a Phillipino and Hawaiin Yellow Tang is the Phillipino one was caught with cyanide. YT's from there are often oddly shaped and don't grow to normal size, or live nearly as long.

I agree with Acrylic, most likely a Mimic Tang....aka, Chocolate Tang, Acanthurus pyroferus
Or, could be an Orangeshoulder or a Scopas...

I went ahead and got the tang. I'll take a pic as soon as I can. He's being kind of shy right now. I would have agreed with Dave if it had looked like a normal yellow tang but it's significantly different. Thanks for all the input and help so far.
<edit: I searched for yellow mimic tang and that's it. Thanks for all your help guys.>
