Yellow Tang problem?

I have a Yellow Tank in my tank and today i spotted 2 white egg looking thing on his fin... what is that..could it be parasites?? if it is parasite should i try to get rid off it somehow?? or what should i do?? I have a cleaner shrimp and my yellow tank always stay by it cleaner stateion for like 30-40 sec..and as i mentioned earlier the cleaner shrimp wouldnt bother to clean it...If the cleaner shrimp do clean it is going to clean that white egg like thingy on my yellow tang's fin?? what should i do about the egg???

I'm not an expert but if the tang looks healthy i would give it a few days and think about setting up qt tank. I dont know about cleaner shrimp but i know cb clean well. Is it at the end of fin? dumb question but its not the spike they use for defense i thought this was something until i found out about it. Sorry best i can do,atleast you got a response. I hate when i get 0 response. :cool:

I have learned from personal experience and reading here that most likely you are getting a case of "ich". You need to start a QT tank ASAP. "Ich" shows up with several spots then disappears into a breeding period.. it will show back up in a week or so and much worse and will cover the fish much faster. You need to get him in the QT tank asap and treat with copper or hyposalinity. You can research both on this site. This problem could have been kicked off from stress due to your overstocking... thats what happened to me!! Hope I could help!!!
