yellow tang turning white.

my yellow tang is turning white.
there are strange almost transparent spots behind the gills
whats going on?
he looks really bad
any suggestions

The problem with tangs is that they tend to get lateral fin and head erosion as well as ich. With this specific tang is a little hard to see it just because they are yellow, but when they start to have the problem, they start to go white around the head. If I recall well, it helps to increase their diet with vitamin E.
