A week ago I saw 2 black spots on my yellow tang, but they went away after a day. As of last night they are back with at least 5-6 more black dots. I've been able to gather from the information here that this is blac ich. From what I've read I need to do either a fresh water or formalin bath. My question is where can I find the exact instructions for this. I need to know what water paramaters, what size container, and how long and how often the fish needs to be in there.
I've also seen that yellow tangs are very suseptible to this. How safe are the rest of my fish from infection? I'm especially concerned with a very young royal gramma I have. Thanks.
