Yellow Tang with small red blotches

My tang has recently developed red blotches near his tail. It isnt a large area and they are small blotches. I was reading other posts, is this HLLE? Do I need to feed him different things or is there a treatment. I presently feed him spirulina tabs, nori, some marine fish flakes and sometimes some krill which he steals from my snowflake when I try to feed him. I have tried to feed him Romaine lettuce but he wont touch it. What should I do?. My tank conditions are good. All zero and Nitrates are under 20 and decreasing since my addition of a refugium.

I had the same problem with my two yellow tangs and i got rid of it by feeding them broccoli and mixing their brime shimp with ZOE supplement. It was gone in a week! It also cured their latteral line

Try a water change and also see if you can get some Zoe or Zoecon, which are excellent supplements for tangs.
Also, remember that tangs are basically vegetarians, so try and add as much green foods as possible and, also, make it available to them in a manner that they can graze. Tangs graze all day in nature, and we need to try and replicate this natural feeding behavior as much as possible.
