When I first turn my lights on in my tank my yellow tang has a large brown circle on his body and also little white spots but once the lights are on for a few minutes both go away. Is this normal? None of my other fish have these marks on them. I have a flame angel, blue hippo, perc clown, mandarin, firefish,
yellow head golby and various inverts along with the yellow tang. I QTed the tang for three weeks before adding him in my main tank and he was alright. He has been in the main tank for a couple weeks now and has been doing this all along. My water readings are:
ammonia 0
trites 0
trates 40
ca 480
fates .25
ph 8.4
salt 1.024
temp 79
125 gal set up for over 6 months
LS/LR 150 lbs
I plan on doing water change (RO/DI) this weekend. I am getting water mixed and with power head and heater now. I did a no-no and started with well water but have4 been doing water changes and top offs with the RO/DI water.
