Looking for love in all the wrong places? I'm sorry but I could'nt resist that. Sounds like some kind of irritation. keep a close eye on what he seems to be grazing on. Maybe sharp edged rock or something,good luck. Hope someone else is more help. SYEVE
Tangs use those cutle little puckering lips to graze on all day long. You got anything in your tank that might be hazzardous grazing material [including other species]?? Keep an eye on it to see if it gets worse, and, if you can, spend some time observing this fish to see what he's up to.
