i have a watchman goby and until recently hes been yellow (normal looking). now hes white to barly noticable yellow with dark stripes on him. whats the cause of this? i test for NO2, CO2, PH, and ammonia. all my parameters are normal. i did just add a threadfin butterfly and a blue linkia about 2 weeks ago. i use nitra-zorb and phosguard on a regular basis so i only use one small bag of each to keep each one in check. i dont think the tank is overstocked but i could be wrong.he seems to be ok , just different colored and i wanted to find out if anyone knew what was up? thanks

Try soaking the food in garlic extreme or selcon concentrate. Those two, especially selcon, can enhance the coloration of the fish.

very strange..
I would say as long as he looks healthy otherwise, and he's got a fat stomach - just keep an eye.
Maybe you have some strange watchman goby hybrid that's changing into his adult coloring... You never know..
Got a picture?
