MY watchman's eyes seem kind of dark, is there something wrong? he's eating and acting fine. His eyes have been this way for about a week now. Nitrates, Nitrites, Ammonia all at 0. Water temp is 81 and I have two percs, yellow eyed tang, chalk basslet and some inverts in the 36 gallon tank as well. Here's a picture

I know very little but i think you will find that link is for a banded watchman not a yellow watchman. As for why it looks dark i would have no idea, may lack some vitamins, calcium, or something that may casue protien sythesis or something similar to not take place. you would just need to change this diet. But i'm no expert i'm just taking that from my uni lectures.
hope he gets better

Aidos, you are right, I did copy the wrong link. A lot of the specimens in this species have darker eyes. Are the eyes swollen? Is the clown behavior abnormal? Eating and swimming normally, or not?
I'm going to copy this thread over to the Fish Forum to see if we can get more goby owner opinions.
