I have a ~15-18" Yellowhead Moray Eel – Gymnothorax rueppelliae
that i have had for 3-4 weeks now and i just need to get rid of this guy. A little more aggressive then what im looking for.
The LFS i bought him from will only take him back if its free and i rather get something out of him rather then just giving him back to the store i bought him from.
I will not ship him because shipping cost would be more then the guy is worth.
Im located in Clarksville TN and would be willing to trade him for fish/corals. Im looking for Duncans ATM but would consider almost anything to find him a new home.
Max length of this eel is roughly 3" from what i have read on the internet. So i would suggest a 6 foot+ tank for lifetime care.

morning bump...
Im willing to take just about anything to find this guy a new home.
Like i said before fish/corals but would also consider cash/beer/bag of old rusty nails/ ect you get the idea, im not trying to make a profit off this guy just want him to have a good home. I would also rather give him away for free to someone rather then giving him back to the LFS who would just turn around and sell him.

BUMP>>> wished you lived closer to NY. I have had the same problem with a LFS wont buy from him again and I have alot of friends that feel the same. you would think that they would want to have a lifetime customer rather than a one-time sale. Quick little story I purchased a grouper from a LFS he was alot more aggressive that what was told and made lunch from a few of my other fish that I was told he wouldnt touch.. well he (the fish) went back to the store, the guy wouldnt buy him back but I didnt want him to kill anything else so he stayed at the store, I also purchased a fish that he had eaten it died the very next day. So i went back to the store with dead fish in hand, and he told me all he would do is give me a 10% discount on my next purchased period.... he wont ever have a chance to do it to me again.. ... hopeyou find a home for him.. good luck.. Looks like he may just go back to the LFS for free. I would have just rather giving him to a hobbyist then to the store for resale.
