Yellowtail tamarin wrasse with leopord wrasse.

Was curious if anybody has had experience with these 2 types of wrasse together. I added a leopard wrasse to my 75g with my tamarin wrasse. The tamarin darts at the leopard every so often. I assume it's due to the similar dot pattern they have. Is it normal for this kind of aggression when first introducing a wrasse with another or should I be worried?

a lot of it depends on how intense the challenge is, how frequent and how long it goes on. Sometimes it is merely an establishment of pecking order and will subside in a few days

I think it has calmed down now. The tamarin didnt see to be chasing/darting last night at the leopard. Think the leopard is afraid of him since he will only stick to one side of the tank til the tamarin goes to sleep. Thanks for the info.

Keep an eye on it for a few days and see if it continues to improve. If so then it was definitely a pecking order thing.
