I BOUGHT AN YELLOW TANG ABOUT 1 MONTH AGO NOW HW GOT ALL THIS RED STUFF ALL AROUND THE BACK AND NOW ON HIS FINGS PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE

Hi:
first things first. ALL CAPITOLS is equivalent to yelling. Please no more all caps.
So describe whats going on. What are the red stripes like, scratches, reddish patches or steaks of red? does it also extend past the fish and onto the fin rays. Does it stop on the body? Do you see frayed fins with open sores, rapid respiration, cloudy eyes? Has the fish stopped eating, or have a bloated stomach?
Can you describe what else is going on in the tank, did you add a new fish recentyl, do you see this YT fighting w/ tankmates?
I have an idea whats going on, but your answers will dictate which way we go here.
We could be looking at trauma associated w/ fighting, a nice bacterial infection, or a serious bacterial infection.
