yep another lighting ?

i have a 36 gallon corner tank & want to up grade to MH lighting i found a few lights on craigslist, a pfo dual 400 watt mh ballast for $120 and a pfo hqi 400 watt ballast for $80 whats the difference between the too? also is 400 watts too much for my tank should i go with a 250 instead?

I the duel pfo ballast operates two MH lights instead of 1 ballast for 1 Mh light.
I think the hqi ballast is M80 ballast with is strictly HQI or DE bulbs.
On a 36 gallon bow if between the two take the 250. That being said what are you planning on keeping in the tank. If it’s a standard 36 bow front I feel 150 watt would be sufficient.
I maybe completely wrong but that’s just how I would be looking to set up a bow.

im not sure what i want to keep yet i just got the tank started 6 mts ago its FO right now but i defenitly want to do some coral & an anemone. whats the difference between a hqi bulb & a normal bulb? is one better than the other?
