Im starting to see ALL of those very depressing SALVATION ARMY commercials! I do donate to charity seasonally but only to one.. The USO..
I send 4 $25 Christmas packages.. It contained a phone card, toiletries, gum, magazines.. Good Deal! And you can write a personal message as well.. I was told that they really really appreciate it and they are wanted items.

I am so pleased to see that you are giving back to the troops for the holidays. They do appreciate it. It means the world to them when they get their packages. I do the same. My husband is in the Army and he says there are a lot of guys who don't get anything from friends or family. These packages bring up the morale of our men and women and make them feel like the U.S. cares. I think more people should do the same.
