ok so i got my 29gal biocube this week and placed some orders with intank and now im am wanting some help on lights, i am not going to use the stock hood that came with it, i would like mh lights im thinking a clamp on light or a pendant or whatever im open to some sugestions, the tank will be a reef tank, and no im not sure on what corals i will have just yet it kinda depends on the light and bulb
im looking to spend around $300 or so on a new light so please be kind to me and offer a helping hand.......please

Sunpod MH 150w will be great, that's what I got and it's enough

Or you could do a sunpod with a 20k bulb.

For around $300 the sunpod imo is the best to go with. You could add supplment lighting as well as the sunpod. i personally use the mh/leds only no supplement. Im growing sps/lps/clams and softies.

im gonna check em out, i guess im just wanting to get the best bang for my buck, the look, the look of the light on, the colors, yada, yada, yada
i almost want to go with a clamp on light just for the ease of being able to get in the tank if needed

well the halide is a retro one. bulb is a plusrite 175w mogul. is that what you mean? sorry

ok as a side note im modding all the back chambers, i placed an order with intank and everything should be here this week but my question is what do i do for chamber one, where the water comes in , do i need to break out the "false floor" in that chamber?
