Yet another DSB Question

I posted a question on this, and it didn't show up, so here it again..
I am thinking of changing my cc to a DSB. More for looks then anything else.. I know everyon pretty much suggests using Southdown, but I can not get Southdown here in TN.
Does Lowes, Home Depot, or Toys-R-Us, carry any other brand of play sand that is recommended?
Thanks for the help... :p

Ive bought 150lbs of the Quikrete play sand and use it in the refugium and display tanks; works great. The DSB is teeming with all sorts of life.

I am trying the sand from Toys'R'US..it is called Lighthouse Playsand and it says it is sand from the beach or like the beach I can't remember...tank has only been up and running a few days...but so far no problems...I know of at least 1 person on this board that posted he had some problems with the quickcrete sand ...that's why I stayed away from it....I'll keep you posted if you are intrested.... :p

Thanks for the replys... Does Quickcrete make only one type of sand, or is there a certain type I should look for?
I will also check out the Light House brand.. :p

I use Quickrete Kiddie Play Sand in my tank. I've had it in there for about a month and it has worked great.

I just went to Menards, and ordered 100 lbs of playsand, and I'm not sure of the name, but it only cost me $3.00, and then $30.00 for the LS, and my DSB is teeming with life. HTH
