Yet another skimmer question

It seems every time I feed my skimmer will stop skimming for awhile. Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong? I have changed the skimmer (went on a smaller tank), and the new one does the same thing. Thanks for the info in advance.

Do you use zoe. If you soak your food in it, the skimmer will stop working temporarily.

That is normal because the foods have oils in them that can cause the foam to subside it should return to making foam after an hour or so.
