I've had a yellow ltplate coral for about a year now. It's around 10 inchs in circ. This weekend it enflated to twice it nomal size and was moving up and over rocks. I've never seen it do this. It has moved 4 or 5 inches to the right or left on the sand bed, but never this far and over a rock. I took pics but alas, I'm very inapt at tech stuff. Has anyone elses ever done this?

My fungia has never moved, but i know the plates can sail in the current if they like. It will probably settle into a new spot. Congrats on keeping A LT plate happy for a year, they aren't easy to keep. I would love to see a pic of it if you could.

If they dont like where they are they can most definatly move, fill up with water and push themselves around.

I try to keep mine penned in with rocks around it, but my GSM clown always flips the rocks and the sand (my plate hosts it)

Thanks to her, I will NEVER have an even sandbed.

clowns are so funny, mine goes in my green open brain like it's an anemone but only at night when no one is watching.
