YIKES! What is this thing!

Hi everyone,
I found this guy in my tank yesterday. I have seen him before and never though much about him but I noticed that he has been on my zoanthid rock since yesterday and the polyps are closed and unhappy. Is this a bad snail that is eating my zoas?

Yep ..... it's a sundial snail .... get it out ASAP.

Yup.... I had the same post a while back. It is a sundial snail, and yes a Zoo colony is like a smorgasbord to him. If left unattended he will eat all of them and get it out quickly because they can multiply.
