I read your respenses about an all natural method using only a protein skimmer, and it intrigued me. This is the first Ive heard of a system like this and it sounds very interesting. I am currently running a 55 f/o with no live rock, a seaclone (which you say sucks), and a wet/dry filter. My ammoina is 0, nitrites about 1 or 0 ppm, and my nitrates steady at about 17-15 ppm. I do 5 gal water changes bi weekly. The tank has been up and running for about a year. There are 2 blue damsels, 2 percula clowns, 1 yellow tang, 1 benggai cardinal, 1 flame hawk, and 1 coral beauty. They all get along fine, not fighting, no diseases, great colors. My system on this tank has been doing a great job (perfectly clear water, no odor, etc). My question is this, I had a 90 set up with a similar set up, but sort of scrapped it (busy, and taking care of 2 tanks is almost too much), sold fish, etc. When I read your posts, I was intriuged. This sounds like a great system. I would like to learn more about this. I would like to set up my 90 with this system. If you (or anyone else) could enlighten me, or share some good websights, it would be greatly appreciated.
