My friend has 2 tanks containing triggers and other aggresive fish.
2 of those triggera are clown and huma,
I have l a unare which is the most like to eat inverts.... anyway
I found that you can keep larger hermit crabs... with hard shells. I ordered a strawbeey from this site and its fine with my wrasse. Not to mention fine in my friends tank.
The larger crabs are the best cleanup crew anyway,,, as war as removind dirt from the bottom. I also learned certain starfish are ok also..(CC, RED KNobbY , )

We were lucky :jumping: and got some live rock pieces that had spotted mushroom coral and button polyps, both are untouched by all of our triggers, pinktail, picasso, and undulated. The mushroom has propagated and we have a new baby that is about 1/2 an inch. The button polyps happened to be on a piece that they love to pick up and move. The polyps are still there, but not thriving because of being banged around.
We plan on getting more of both (on larger pieces) but they still try to move them. They are some strong fishies!!! They love to move stuff, so from our experience, GET BIG ROCKS that have either of these two on them and you will love the results. As an horticulturalist, it is so much "prettier", better than just rock, not that the rock isn't pretty with the coraline growing on it, oh you know what I mean.

Peace......Cindy :happyfish
