You got it folks.... another halide question coming at you.

I am considering getting a 150 gallon to put my reef in, and making my 200 an aggressive FOWLR. Maybe, maybe not.
So, I am debating over which halide setup to work with. Would a dual 250 MH setup be sufficient for a 6 foot 150?
I am considering a 400 dual MH setup in case I dont get the 150. That way I could always use it on my 200. Tough call. Opinions?
Because I may not get the 150.
I know some corals might not do well under too much halide lighting. So I am worried that dual 400s might be too much for a 150, and that dual 250s might be perfect. Ok, there ya go.
Thanks in advance.

i agree with alti, you should go with 3 mh for a 6' tank. i have a 180 gal 72x24x24 with 2 250's at the ends and a 175 in the middle. reason for my different wattages is i had the lights from 2 different tanks.

I have 2 400 watt MH on a 4 foot 120 gallon tank and all the corals I took out of my 55 with VHO are so much fuller and seem to enjoy the extra light.
