I seen that site. The dreams I could make try. Where the hell is a fairy godmother when you need one. :p

I know I already replied to this thread in the other forum but I keep visiting this site. Anways this time I read the 'Is seavisions for you' It states these tanks are not for the hobbiest they are for decor mainly and recomend them serviced by the seavision staff. That sounds nice yes, but whats the fun in that. This might sound like I'm lying but even if I was very wealthy I would still take care of my tanks myself.

Nope I believe you - I think half the fun of this hobby is the maintainence we do to keep our tanks looking good. At least in my case I appreciate it so much more when I know that I have put a tremendous amount of time and energy in setting mine up, doing research to keep things healthy, and then being able to see the fruits of my labors - I think having someone else maintain your tank would reduce the amount of joy you could get from the tank.
I dream of winning the lotto so that I can have a tank big enough I have to dive in to do any maintainence :)
Also has anyone else noticed how often this URL is coming up all over the board the last few days? The first time I clicked it was cool, now its just starting to get annoying.

Um take a deep breath and chill out, I said nothing bad about you - I could have said why is this idiot posting this same site in Reef Tanks, Photography, and New Hobbyists, but I didn't. If you don't like what is said about you posting the same topic repeatedly don't reply :) Not really sure why you would take offense to my post, but relax they are just words that weren't even directed at you, the were directed at the fact we have seen this URL numerous times - makes me think maybe you work for them and are trying to get their hit counts up.
Oh yeah don't bother trying to think of something witty to comeback with, I won't get dragged into a flame war :)

Sorry Oregonbud, I didnt mean to get into it with you. I am responsible for posting the url in three forums. I do not work for them i was only trying to share something that i thought was very neat! I wont do that anymore thanks to critical people like you!

i Haft to agree, even through all the headaches of making messes, & equipment failures, it makes it all worth it when someone comes over & says" Wow your tank looks great, just like a mini Seaworld", & beable to tell them that you take care of it. Just like a tricked out vehicle, anyone can buy one, but to build it is a far betterway.

If I could afford a tank like that, I wonder if I could afford to pay Rob Schneider to come over and take care of it when I am on vacation!!
"Fishy, fishy. fishy!!"

Where's Robin Leach's picture on that site?? (Probably too old a reference for you youngsters on the board!)
I want the one in the first picture...no, the second picture...no the third. . .
I tell you what and flame if you want, but if I could afford any of those tanks (or living rooms!), I WOULD let SeaVisions do my water changes. Some people have fantasies of having maids, chefs and personal massage therapists...I just want someone to do ALL my water changes. Ahhhhhh. That's what I'd buy with my lottery winnings!
