You spent how much $$ on something that makes bubbles?

What my wife can't understad when I explained what a Protine skimmer is. Orderd the euro-reef CS6-3

That is what I say but only I am the one into the hobby and saying it.
Why the He11 do they cost so much it can't be that much to make.
All it is, is a tube of plastic that has a motor in it.

yeah but at least you didn't buy a really cheap skimmer to save $$ then upgrade to a cheap skimmer then finally buy a good skimmer. That cost alot more.IME
