I just dropped two bubble bee snails in the tank and I got about 10 blue legs that are acclimated I was wondering If i should go ahead and drop them in?

I would not. Blue legs are killers. I have watched them in my tank kill snails and my scarlet hermits. I watched many times the blue legs, even though they are smaller, attempting to pull my scarlets out of thier shell. By the amount of scarlets I see anymore I guess they are succeeding. Next time I buy more scarlets all the blues I can catch are coming out.

Occasionally a hermit WILL kill a snail for it's shell. But if you keep a good variety of empty shells for them to move into as they outgrow thier current homes,They should be OK.But there is no garantee.

Doesn't matter if you have upgrade shells or not (in my case anyway). The little

live to kill snails, it is their profession. If I could catch them I would pull them out, but they are intrenched in my reef.

i have to agree with the vote on blues being killers. I have PLENTY of shells, and my ONE blue hermit quite often kills a snail or a scarlet for its shell. I have seen him chase down turbo snails, flip them over, and pul and pull until he yanks them out and takes their shell. I used to break up the fights, but gave up- i cant babysit :)
I just figure its part of the hobby- carnage is a part of life! :)
