How much trust I just put into my fish store.
My house is being fumigated tomorow and the best decision was to remove the tank.
The easiest and consequently safest method turned out to be pick up and then delivery by my LFS. So Ive been with them for about two years, and they have yet to steer me wrong. So I decided to confide in them during this difficult time. Ha.
Anyway, they came to my house, broke my tank down, they will reset it up at the store, then they'll break it down again Sunday morning and bring it back to me.
I'm not 100% sure what my tank will look like next time its back in my living room, but I will be checking on it daily, I'm fairly confident in their abilities though.

seems a little overpriced to me. at 50$/hour, that means it would have to take them 6 hours. But peace of mind it worth a lot. you don't have to mess with it, and your stuff will be safe. good decision, overall, imo.

55gal and a 26 bow, they broke down both tanks and consolidated them into one, it took them an hour to break them down and itll probably take them two to set it back up plus they are keeping my tank at the store, running and keeping everything alive i think its well worth it. I just returned from an inspection and everything seems to be fine. So i cant wait till sunday to have my tank back.

IMO to have all that done by your LFS, 300 isn't too bad of a deal. Glad to hear you approve of the aquascape. Before and after pics?
