Your Favorite Tang?

Im just starting out and have a yellow tang, Id like to hear what experience people have with other tangs and why they like them?:D

My favorite is a powder blue. Thanks to me finding this board though one's life and my money will be saved for now. My tank hasn't got the room for one I think and I would'v gotten it if I hadn't been around here learnin stuff. You know the guys at the LFS would never mention such a thing, they probably don't even know.

Yellow tangs have personalities. Just not nice ones. Hippo is tops on my list, but I also like yellows. I like fish with attitudes.

Our favorite is our purple tang. We got him FREE from a LFS because he had a terrible case of HLLE and they felt he was going to die within the week anyway. I told them I could cure it...they scoffed but gave me the fish. Long story short, 6 months later, he's healthy as a horse, and the HLLE is about 80% gone.

I love my Powder Blue - he's gorgeous and big @7"
I also love the yellow tang, hippo, and sailfin. I also think the atlantic blue is a realy pretty one too. I wish i could have them all!!! :D

I would love to have a clown tang! Those things are just majestic and if you find one with good colors, nothing better will you find.

I have the purple and a big sohal tang he acts like a trigger even the big sallylightfoot runs for his life he always begs for food he even chases my 8" Queen Angel he is some fish I still want to add a naso in my 150gl but im afraid the sohal wont like him or maybe the purple and naso will team up together in defense. we will wait and see

UM....I like....uh...yeah! the one with Fins! I mean gills. Well, alright, I like them all! If I had to pick a favorite, I would pick the Sohal or the Vlamigi Tang (spelling?).;)

I just purchased a powder blue. He is definately the most beautiful, although he does not get along well with my yellow tang. I'm thinking about moving Poon (yellow tang) to another tank. What do you think?

I really the power blue too,I was told thats one of the last fish I will add because it likes very good water in an established tank, I like that name POON TANG, pretty Cool,:D

what happened to the longnose Black tang no one likes them? are they a problem, i am looking to get one for my 200gal tank

Anyone have a lipstick tang (Naso lituratus)?
If you do, do you have any tips on feeding and caring for them?
I just got one and I read that they need algae and other vegetation in their diet. I've only been feeding it bloodworms so far which it likes.
