Chill??? Why, cus i wanted to see what 1500 snails in a tank looked like???
that pic sure dont show anywhere near 1500 snails. I wanna see what a sandbed with 1000 Nassarius looks like or 1250 hermits not a pic from 10 feet away. 3 snails per gallon seems like alot to me, guess not.

I am sorry, you are correct. You can only see two fish at 10' too.

Not to mention, if thats 1750+ lbs of Live rock then its made of lead and 1500 lbs of it aint in the picture

SOU812, how many snails are in the fuges? Considering that your system runs about 800 gallons, I think you are about right on the amount.(maybe even a little shy) Nice setup!! (some people are just jealous) That pic only shows about 4 feet of tank. And in my experience, most saltwater fish tend to hide when the camera comes out (LOL). To the rest of the "experts" I have 100 snails in my 130, and can never see more that 2 or 3 at a time (6" dsb). And I have recently acquired some LR that is VERY dense.

Maybe we should ask the moderators to set up a special section called, "Attitude Problems" and the one's who want to beat up on each other can be restricted there.

i have a 90 gallon acrylic cube
a 240 glass built in wall (cycling right now)
inhabitants:
niger trigger
blue hippo tang
about 400 lbs of live rock between the two
when the 240 cycles the 90 is coming down and being sold

Your right its on. Any one with a brain can see whats going on. There is no way there is 1500 snails in that tank. Say what you want about the nassarius hiding but where are the 500 turbos hiding???? Not to mention 1250 hermits.
Not to men tion, I challenge anyone to say that there is 1750+ lbs of liverock in there either. If therre is every inch of the tank not shown is filled with live lead
. That pic looks like about 250 lbs of liverock.
Lets do a poll, everyone look at that pic and say how much Live rock is in that tank
P.S. have your "brother" post a pic also
