I have a 75 setup with 55lbs of Fiji LR and 2 p. clowns. I got alot of my sand from the LFS that I used to work at, he gave it to me from his personal tank in the back. All of the levels of cycling have peaked only leaving the Nitrites a little high and in my previous post just wanted to get recommendations on lowering them. Everything had been running with only LR and live sand for 3 weeks with the new addition of the clowns. What levels should I be checking for? the fish are doing great. Should I watch for color changes etc. ? Thanks and love the board.

what color changes are you talking about? in the fish, water, sand?
i would check specifically the nitrites, nitrates, ammonia, salinity, and Ph. there are others that you can check for as your tank matures but those will be the main ones for now.

Your tank is not completly cycled. If your nitrites are a little high they will slowly go down and your nitrates wil go up then come down. I would moniter these levels along with PH and KH.

also, you say the levels have peaked, have they come back down to 0 after the peak? the ultimate goal, (and healthiest for the animals) would be to have 0 for your trite, trate, and ammonia readings.
cylces will typically last longer than three weeks, if you see your nitrates begin to shoot up, that will be followed by your ammonia spike. watch your levels close, if that is happening there is a good chance you could lose the clowns.
