what are your opinion on sea lettace is it worth it or not to grow? :confused:

Do you mean Coulupra(sp?) algae???If so,,my answer is YES...I have it in a seperate 10 gallon tank under m,y main tank setup like a sump.This is called a refugium.It serves many purposes.It helps to reduce the nitrate levels in the tank.It gives the bad algae a prefered place to grow in the setup,thus kepping it from growing in the main tank.It provides fresh greens for my tangs to eat when I trim it.And by leaving the lights on over this tank 24hours a day,,It keeps the Ph stable....

You mean the plastic looking stuff found at beaches? If you want some all you have to do is go fishing with me at the pier and I'll fill you some buckets.

my lfs calls it sea letace it is flat about 2inches wide and about 3 inches long green i thought it was calapra. :confused:
