Yuma Mushroom Fail.

Hey all! Hope the new year is starting out good for ya!
So over the holiday weekend I stop into a random LFS and saw a really beautiful neon orange Yuma mushroom with a pricetag of only $25. Normally these guys at other stores are priced around $85-$150 so I happily bought the little guy thinking I was getting a really sweet deal.
Since this coral is a shroom I assumed it would be a hardy and easy to keep coral. Boy was I wrong! After day 2 in the tank, the Yuma already began to shrivel up, secrete a clear slime out of its mouth, and holes began to appear in the stalk. I immediately went "WTF?!?!" and began googling... well at the top of my google search results was an article that pretty much explained that what I was seeing is a very common thing with Yumas when they are introduced to a home tank and scientists haven't figured why this happens but if it does happen the best thing to do is dip the coral and put it in the shade with low flow and hopefully if it can survive for 2 weeks like this you are out of the woods.
Well I did exactly that but unfortunately my Yuma was dead the next day.
So to recap, in less then 72 hours, the Yuma went from looking really good to coughing out its guts to dead, for reasons that according to the articles I found online, are unknown.
I'm not too upset over it since I only paid $25 for it... but thought I'd post my story as a word of warning to those considering paying around $100 or more for one of these guys.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I to have learned this lesson to many times, impulse buying. This one of those good reason for having Internet on your phone.
