Ive had 5 different yumas for about a month now. A pink, purple, multicolor, pink/yellow, and yellow/green. All of them are attached to small rocks sitting on the sandbed 24" directly under my 250watt 14,000k metal halide. I dose trace elements weekly, iodine biweekly, iron into the sump daily, and feed with kent coral accel and reef-roids 3 to 4 times a week. Its a mushroom only tank with no fish.
The pink, multicolor, and pink/yellow yumas are doing great, showing excellent expansion, color, and the multicolor showing some noticeable growth.
However the purple yuma and yellow/green yumas dont open all the way or remain shrivelled for large portions of the day. Why are these two yumas doing this while the others in identical locations are doing excellent? Could these be signs of too much light? Not enough light?
Thanks for any input!
