Zebra Moray Eel with Flame Hawk?

I have purchased a zebra eel and I was wondering if anyone knew if I could put my flame hawk from my other tank in with him. I found a compatibility chart and it saws hawkfish and eels are not compatible, however I read that the zebras do not really bother fish. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

You are correct, generally speaking Zebra eels will leave fish alone. They are more apt to eat crustaceans, however this is a hobby with no guarantees. That said, it's extremely unlikely anything will happen.

That was kind of what I was thinking. I can always try it and if it doesn't work we wil know not to do that again. Thanks

I think you're safe with pretty much any fish. I had a large zebra and it wasn't interested in eating any of the fish in the tank, even the smaller ones.

Ditto-- my experience with zebra eels are -they are extremely fish-safe, they have little interest in fish

You have MINIATUS GROUPER down twice. I also think the list would be better if it had the species names instead of the common names as that tends to cause confusion.
I didn't see a Rypticus saponaceus on you list. That is a great Soapfish that stays below a foot in size.
