Is it alright to use zeolite in saltwater tanks to remove ammonia? If not what works well? thanks in advance for any help

You shouldn't need to add anything to get rid of ammonia, as it will be broken down once the tank is mature. The only time that it should be elevated is during the cylce and if something large dies and goes unnoticed.
