Zoa conditions for optimal Growth

So, Ive had a bunch of zoa's for a while, and it seems that they definitely respond to different conditions. So, I was wondering if others could point out what conditions they have seen the best growth under i.e. Tubbs Blues - had 3 polyps for 3 months under pc lights. No growth. Switched to LED, had 6 polyps in 2 weeks. Fragged 3 off, and it grew 2 more really fast, then slowed up. Then, I let the water get kinda dirty (29 gallon biocube, went 2 weeks before a water change), and then I had 6 more new polyps in that time. Kept the water clean for a month, then went another 2 weeks, and again, I saw very fast growth.
So,
Clean Water Great Growth:
Radioactive Dragon Eyes
Ding Dang People Eaters
Eagle Eyes
Dirty Water Great Growth:
Tubbs Blues
Pink Deaths
Armour of God
Alien Eyes
Solar Pinks
Ones that seem independent of water quality:
Regular Blue Zoas
LA Lakers
So anyone else notice anything similar?

I really only have one setting when it comes to water quality for my tank. I keep my water pretty clean, water changes once a week, and run a skimmer. I feed twice a week with a special mixture that I keep my own personal secret.
I have:
Dragon eyes.
Toxic Lava PE
Armor of gods
Tubbs blue.
Whammin watermelons.
Pink palys.
Nuclear Green palys.
Blue hornets.
bam bam orange.
fire and ice.
button polyps.
I notice that I get better responses with different (stable) temps and placement.
Most of the zoas seem happy with a decent (medium) current and high placement.
The blue hornets are doing great in the sand bed.
Nuclear greens spreading like crazy at the middle of the tank.
Rest are doing great at the highest point of the tank. I was told that bam bams would grow fast but seems to be one of my slowest growers.
Armor of gods actually grow really fast in their top position and even stretch out to try and obtain more light.
