Zoa ID and help

Okay my LFS has tons of Zoas, but they are never really open, and they have really long stalks (i thought Zoas grew very close to the rock). I have pasted pics of 2 frags I just got. The big one I was told are "pink zoas" i counted 10 polyps, although they have not all opened yet, is that worth $7? The little one is "toxic green" he said when they get bigger they'll be a very loud green color, it was only $2 so I cant complain either way, just hope i didnt get ripped off.
Can someone verify these are Zoas and tell me how long they'll take to open up. In the LFS they are in a 3 inch deep frag tray about 2 feet wide and 12 feet long with 6 250W MH lights about 2 feet off the water surface, probably too much light for these guys honestly, so hope they'll be happier at my house :)

You're going to need better pics, and pics of them open under daylights for proper id. However, those prices sound good :) If I can find pics of my zoos (I have both of those you listed) I'll let you take a look.

the reason some zoas grow long stems is pending on the light bright lights they dont grow long stems. less light they will grow the stems to get closer to the light.
and yes those prices are very decent for any zoa!

I'm not sure what you mean about under daylights. I have a 5 gallon AGA with a 20W 50/50 coralife CF bulb. Im not sure why the smaller frag pic came out so blue, I'm guessing you might have thought I took it under actinic only? I just got them so I'm not sure about how long they take to open. They weren't open much at the LFS either, I'm thinking the lights were too bright or maybe too much flow across them.
I'm going to another LFS next week, he's got an orange zoo frag he said I could have for $10 if its still there.

As a general rule, I try not to buy any coral, including Zoos unless they are open.

Good luck with them.

Thanks much. It took my 3 star polyp (literally 3 polyps) frag about a week to get 100% happy, now 2 weeks later I have at least a 6 big ones and probably a dozen tiny polyps. Hopefully this will be the same. I know I wouldn't want to bake under that much MH if i were a soft coral ;)
