Zoa Newbie Questions

I just got a few frags of zoas recently, which were my first coral for my tank and I have some questions. Do I have to spot feed them or anything like that? I have metal halides so my lighting is pretty strong. Does it matter where in the tank I place the coral? How do you frag a coral if it is on one of those frag plug thingys? Do you just have to wait until it spreads to a rock? thanks

put them towards the bottom for awhile if placed in to bright an area to fast they melt so move them to where you want slowly

Honestly if you want them to spread, butt up another frag plug next to them, gently touching one of the heads. With a little time and patience they will grow over onto the new plug, and all you have to do is cut the mat between the two plugs. It doesn't take to terribly long (depending on the zoo). I had a colony of about 50 heads of Bam Bams, and I wedged the plug between two rocks and in a month I had a colony of about 200 between the rocks and plug. Provide them with the right ammount of light, and good water parameters, and you will be quite pleased.
