Zoa question...

I can just cut that "webbing" that forms between the zoa's without doing any damage right? I have one rock in particular that has gotten so overgrown that the zoas have started making their own "clumps" by forming on the live rock rubble/shells/what not at the base of the rock. If I pick up the main rock there are several balls of zoas hanging off the bottom connected by just this little webbing piece that seems to be hanging on by a thread. I wanted to just cut them free and place somewhere else. I won't hurt it by doing this right?

yup you would be fine just making a nice clean cut. the zoas may close up for a day or so but they will be fine. so far the zoas ive fragged have opened up with in a hour or so. but it can vary..

no such thing as a stupid question! but yes you could or even just a razor blade would work. just clean and dry what ever you use!! things rust out pretty quick like with saltwater.

i have a question... when fragging zoas, do u have to place them in a rubble tub like with muchrooms so they can attach themselves? or can u just put super glue on the bottom of the zoa itself and have them survive? do i just use supreglue brand gel?
