I have a zoa frag plug that has some red/pink zoas on it. Is there zoas out there that have very tiny heads?? This particular one is quite tiny but they are spreading on the plug quite nicely, will take a picture when there is more of them.
Just curious if there is really small head zoas out there??

I think that's all relative to the environment. I had some zombie eyed zoas that spread and always had really small heads under PC lights but when I moved them into a tank with MH the heads nearly doubled in size.

I have read that Atlantic zoa's are very small, also called seamats, but Pacific zoa's are larger......Someone help me on this one. I have a rock that is covered in zoa's, but very small....they called it a seamat at the store.

there are definatly small polyp zoas and no matter what lighting you put them under or conditiions they are grown in they dont get any bigger. some can get very large and some stay very small.

I have some that I believe are Nightmares....are they notoriously small?
Mine are 1/2 the size of my other Zoas.
Don't know what the deal is, but having trouble loading pics now???
