Zoa tank

OK. So I have been getting some zoas together and felt it was time to put all my polyps in one basket. Still have a ways to go, but that is what makes this such a great hobby, the collection of fine corals, at least what makes it so exciting for me.
So here is the beginnings of my 30gl zoanthid tank.

I intend to follow you once I get my hands on a Red Sea Max Nano. I should have it by Christmas :)
You should consider something not as pricey with better lighting. I think the Finnex tanks are the best as far as what they offer compared to price. JMO though.
Doesn't the Redsea have PC lighting? I have always thought the Redsea a bit expensive for what you get and it hasn't gotten the best reviews. For 2/3 the price you can have a 30gl with skimmer, pumps, MH/T5 lighting, built in refugium. Add a couple Koralin 2s and ATO and you have an awesome nano.

I can actually get a fellow reefers 34 gallon RSM when he takes it down, so it's considerably less than the $799 current price tag. He's tank is beyond amazing. His has T5's in it.

Wow, tank looks nice already.
I have a sixline in a nano, and I love him. He is so curious as he patrols the lr in search of his next meal. Love all of the different zoas. Is this a finnex tank?

Yes. Finnex with 150wt MH and 2x24T5s.
I will probably get a 6 line. They are cool fish.

Really nice. I like the rock work, it almost looks like 1 big peice. You mind listing the specs (equipment, etc) for this tank? Do you have a close up of the really large green polyps in the center sand? I'm guessing grandis, but never seen grandis that bright green color. Seems like you currently keep a lot of tanks, hom many and do you have a dedicated room or are they just all over your house? Again, really nice.

. Do you have a chiller on yours?
No chiller. I mounted a 4" fan on the MH unit to blow across the surface. Works well keeping the tank from going over 80F. I keep the room the tanks are in at 76F so it works out well.

Not sure what they are. Yes, they are certainly big and green though. Bout the greenest flourescence I have seen in a zoa.

Not much too it. It is a Finnex 30M tank with 150wt MH 14k Phoenix and 2x24wt T5 UV actinic. Small refugium. Rock is 4 pieces just cycled. Filled the tank with water from another and been watching the zoas closely. No fish and 1 snail.
Right now just 2 tanks going and yes, all setup in my play room. Just my dog and I are the only ones allowed to come in here.

I love these the best I think, or at least one of my favs.
WOW that looks like someone drew it. How did you take that pic? I know I've asked it before, but what is your camera and what lens do you use?

Canon 570. I reverse a 35mm lens on it to get really close up.
