The skirts on my various Zoa colonies are starting to get very long and frilly. Someone told me that this happens to *shade* themselves when they are getting to much light, just adapting.
I have recently added 33% more light to my tank. Is this what is happeneing?
Lighting is current USA dual PC 192 watts total, also added a current PC single strip, another 96 watts.
Water params are good. Zoas are healthy otherwise.

I have some zoos right near the surface of my water and they have not done this. I think some just have more eye lashes then others. Also, if you got frag and they are starting to grow, the older ones could be showing their true look

I have read but not experienced that a lot of flow will also contribute the the skirts getting longer.
