so was doin some work on my biocube and got lazy and one of the fan wires went into the water, with power on for about an hour. its 12 volts and all of my zoas have been closed for 3 days now. ive done 2 idodide dips and they still dont seem to be recovering. kinda a little green growing on them now. are they dead and the green is them dying, or should i give it a few days. my xenia in my tank died as well, but my shrooms, rics, fish, are all alive. and it seems the snails that were on the glass bit the dust as well but none of my other snails died. any suggestions or ideas?

i dont think its pests, because all my zoas were open and doing great until this happened, so im almost positive its a direct result of the zapping

you might try running some carbon or doing some water changes. Its a shot in the dark but it might help. Also if they are starting to grow algae,Take a fine toothbrush and try scrubbing it off.The algae will only promote infection and hinder their revovery

i would say give it some time.It looks and sounds like they went through hell.Like i said before thou if they start to get covered in algae brush it off. Also keep doing water changes. They dont look to terrible so i think they should come thru for you

so u dont think them being so closed up and not opening at all is a bad thing? i mean it doesnt look like they are rotting or anything...and i do a water change once a week

well its not a great thing but they are probably just really stressed out and recovering. As long as you dont see decay or oozing from the polyps they should open up eventually and be ok
