Hi,
Is there a certain temperature for zoas also where are the best placements for them meaning high towards the light middle bottom ect thanks.

oh sorry I have pc 4x65watts 55gal tank-also have 2sets of175wt mh was thinking of putting on therre instead would the mh be to much for a 55gal

no the mh woudl b fine if u did put mh's on u should keep them on the bottom to start and slowly move them up if pc's any where pretty much

Lighting requirements depend on what region the zoas come from.
Can you post pics of the zoas in question? It will help ID them, and give a better idea of placement.

These zoas are called Fire and Ice, Wild Green, Ghost Zoas, Super Boys, Super Rare Aussie and Cotton Candy I searched and I cant find most of them unless the names are made up lol.

rule of thumb i think is to keep the brighter zoos higher up. The zoos will probably not open AS much under MH- not because they are unhappy.. but they dont have to expand so much to get light. They usually retain color better too... as long as you arent frying them under that light.
