I recently acquired a few zoa frags. I was giving a forum member a freezer and in payment i got frags. Lol sooo what can you tell me about zoas? What i have read is there a good beginner coral. Med to high light med flow. A few places said there one of the most forgiving corals.

My experience is that it just depends. If you have a colony that's been aqua cultured that's probably your best bet.

Some are super easy and don't need strong light yet the spread like wild fire. While others under the same conditions don't seem to do much at all. And then others just melt away with no good explanation (not counting pests or disease).

Intresting. Well they have all opened up quickly so iam thinking this is a good sign lol
