Zoos vs. Encrusting Monti

I have an encrusting monti that I'm thinking about moving up on to a rock that is higher up in the tank from where it's sitting now so it can be more square to the light. I have zoos on the rock i want to move it to that are about 3 inches from where i want to put it. when both start to spread and finally run into each other what's going to happen? is the monti going to push the zoos back as it grows or will the zoos over run the monti or will they live peacefully along the boarder and neither will progress into the other's territory?

my guess would be the monti will win the battle and as it gets closer to the zoos the zoos will grow away and around the monti. they will battle though.
thats my guess anyway I havent had the 2 close together so I really cant say who would win the battle.

I've seen them collide before. Generally the zoo's will win unless they tolerate each other which I've seen in most setups. Here are some blue tubs and a superman monti loving each other.
