Emreald crabs

I have a 45 gal tank and a 78 gal tank, in my 45 I have a banded coral shrimp and I want to know if it's ok to add a emreald crab ? and in my 78 gal how many can I have ?

I had my coral banded shrimp and emerald crab together for a few month they never bother each other, but within three month the emerald crab just died don't know why. can never keep them alive
