BioCube 29 Gallon Bottom Glass Cracked - HELP!!

Hello,

I have a Biocube 29 gallon tank and the bottom glass cracked and the water began to leak.
I have removed all the fish who are now in a temporary tank.
Looking to get the tank replaced, but not thrilled about spending another $300.
Maybe get a regular tank, and not a BioCube, but I do have the stand for the BioCube already and everything else I need for it.
Any ideas?

You could probably get a regular tank and stand for less than $300 especially if you want to stay in the 29 gallon range.

What caused the glass to crack?

I use a BC29 as my QT. It's been my only experience with an all in one system but I prefer it to a run-of-the-mill tank. Some of the higher end nanos are pretty cool, too. If it was me, I'd just get another BC.

What lighting do you use? I was looking at upgrading the lights on my BC29 to StevesLED's.

i never changed my lighting and used the stock lights tht came with the tank. i did have an algae problem but i think i was keeping the lights on for too long
