Would a combo of actinic, 12k, a coral bulb, and purple be a good combo? I also have 2 nems in another tanks with leds i wanna move over so their needs are just as important as corals and i need to make sure their light needs are met.
I have a well established 37 gallon tank and was wondering what kinda light i should get for cheap. I nedd one that will let coral and anemones live well. I was wondering if the 165w dimmable would be a good choice?
I got a new bubble tip today and when I put it into my tank it would inflate them deflate. Now it's really flaccid. Is this normal? I also fed it a small krill. It ate it then spit it out some time later.
I know green algae is perfectly normal but I was wondering if there are any blennies that are very small that would eat all the algae in my tank. I have only a 7 gallon tank so small is a must.
I was wondering if this was a good anemone for my black ocellaris to host. (Featuring my blue madarin goby in the back) Also don't mind the brown algae. This is just do to me having a new tank.
Clownfish generally don't eat right away after being put into a new tank. Maybe, like mine, not even for a few days. They like open space and them swimming in the corners is also normal. This being because they temporarily host corners for sleep until they have either an anemone or a better spot...
Clownfish born into captivity don't know what an anemone is. It may scare them or they may just not know what it is. The best thing you can do is give it time and things will happen naturally. My black and white ocellaris clown has been with my lta for about 2 months now and still hasn't hosted it.
All that is happening is that it decided it didn't like that spot. It looks very healthy. My lta does this all the time. Sometimes it wanders around, other times it will float along. It will eventually find the spot it likes most. The only this you can do is deal with where it goes. This is...
